One important purpose of any SHRM chapter is to provide HR resources to its membership. Jefferson County Human Resources Management Association (JCHRMA) recently took a good look at the makeup of our chapter and realized that while we provided HR-related information and programs to our members, there were two specific groups of people that could use some additional assistance.
We’ve added a new membership level that will encompass both Young Professionals and HR Professionals in Transition. These two groups of people may not have HR resources readily available.
JCHRMA is a network of professionals that can ease the transition into the workforce for both those recent college graduates who may not have much HR experience and those experienced individuals who are looking for a new HR opportunity.
A discounted membership rate, monthly programs on important HR topics and an entire group of people ready and willing to answer any and all questions? What could be better?!?
