Welcome to La Crosse, Wisconsin!

La Crosse Area SHRM is Excited to Welcome SHRM members to La Crosse!

The WISHRM State Conference is scheduled for October 9-11 in La Crosse, WI providing HR professionals with great educational and networking opportunities. LASHRM members are ready and waiting to welcome everyone to the western side of Wisconsin. Our location is often referred to as “God’s Country” by those familiar with it.  The region features an attractive cost of living, beautiful bluffs and coulees, three major rivers including the Mississippi River, outstanding health care and education systems, and easy access to major cities in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. The area has great hiking and biking trails along with ample walking and running paths – enjoy your full days and evenings at the conference and consider extending your stay.  You will fall in love with the area!

Over 80 LASHRM members are registered to attend the conference and we can help point you in the right direction.  LASHRM volunteers will have La Crosse ambassador attire so you can easily identify us.  We are here to help you get acclimated with the La Crosse Center and to the La Crosse area.  We are very excited to be the host city for the 27th annual WISHRM State Conference and our members are available to help you navigate the waters!

If you need information on La Crosse ahead of time, send us a tweet @lashrm or send us a message on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/shrmlacrosse.

While attending the conference be sure to participate socially by using #wishrm13 on Twitter and/or Facebook posts.  Follow the 2013 WI SHRM Conference conversation @wishrm.
