JCHRMA’s Members Matter!
Jefferson County Human Resource Management Association (JCHRMA) is committed to providing information and resources for the HR professionals in Jefferson County. We’ve ways to show our members that they do make a difference – in their jobs, in the community and especially in our chapter!
The following are initiatives JCHRMA is offering in the 2012-2013 program year:
Certification: We recently purchased the 2013 SHRM Learning System materials to help our members become certified. In addition, all of our programs get submitted for HRCI credits.
Information: The latest edition of our quarterly newsletter, Chapter Chat, was sent out to all members.
Legal Update: A monthly legal update is sent out to all members as a way to keep up with legal cases and trends.
Membership Discounts: We offer free membership to HR professionals in transition – what better way to network than to attend a meeting full of other HR professionals! We also offer discounts to those businesses wishing to register multiple people.
Points Program: We’ve made our points program even better than last year! Members are awarded points for attending meetings, volunteering, earning certification, and referring other members. Points earned can be redeemed for free meeting registration, purchases from the SHRM store and a drawing for a 2014 JCHRMA membership.
Social Media: At our kick-off meeting in September, we provided members with an opportunity to get a professional head shot done to update their social media profiles.
