As the temperatures begin to rise in Wisconsin, nothing screams out staying inside more than Chapter Conferences. You have already read (and will read more in the future) about the 3 legislative conferences. However, we are fortunate that there are a few coming up in the next 2 months.

Oshkosh – Leaders, Legends, and Legacies – May 11
Human Resources is often seen as a function that leads an organization. In her 19th season with the Green Bay Packers, Betsy Mitchell has transitioned from a consulting partner to a driver of organizational and staff development. Working with this highly visible organization has involved continual adaptation to meet the organizational challenges in a unique culture. Betsy will share her personal journey of transformation to strategically bring a championship approach to HR.
During this program, Betsy will explain how you and your organization can become leaders through: having the right attitude, using teamwork, and handling the up’s and down’s. The 5 C’s of leadership and 26 lessons from legendary leader Vince Lombardi will assist in your quest to become a successful leader.
Betsy will take you through the process of evaluating leadership. In order to become a leader, you need to first lead yourself by knowing who you are, what you believe in and how important it is to you, and determining what you are willing to do. You will be encouraged to think about how you are demonstrating your leadership in your place of work and what role leadership plays in your daily life. Also, you will be asked to think back on what you have done that you are proud of; that you will be remembered for so that you can create a legacy.
