Welcome to the WI SHRM Social Media Hub

Mark today’s date.  Write it down.  Hear the clarion call. It is the official notice that the Wisconsin SHRM State Council is official entering the social media ring.

What we hope to deliver is the latest buzz occurring with Wisconsin’s Human Resource Professionals from the organization representing them.

What can you expect?

1. To hear from a State Council Leaders or Core Leadership Area Director at least once a month

2.   To hear from Chapter Leaders from around Wisconsin at least twice a month

3.  Continuing coverage from State and National Conferences

4.  A calendar of state SHRM events on or around the first of each month

5.  An update on the State Conference on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

You have been alerted.  We hope you like it.  As always, we welcome your comments and feedback.

So, the blog needs a name….Dairyland HR?  Packerland HR?  Beer Brats and HR?  Here is where you come in….Help name the blog.   In the comments section, leave your suggestion of what the blog should be called.   We’ll take suggestions until Monday, January 24.  On Tuesday, January 25, we’ll choose our three favorites and put up a poll.  The winning name not only gets bragging rights, but will also win a $25 gift card to Target.   Fire away.

Hmm, how about the line Dave the HR Czar used recently on Drive Thru HR…Behind the Cheese Curtain?

Great job to Matt and the rest of the WISHRM crew.

    Love naming stuff!

CheesyHR-it gets better with age 🙂

Here’s my brainstorm – any combination of words to describe:
    – Our region (WI, central, midwest)
    – Our profession (HR, people, workforce, workplace, talent, human capital, HR strategy)
    – The forum (blog, chat, discussion, lounge, dialogue, conversation, network, insider, diary)

    Here are some ideas:
    – WI SHRM HR Network
    – Human capital lounge
    – WI workforce lounge
    – HR & more
    – Talent talk
    – HR happy hour 🙂

  4. Cassy Van Dyke says:

Another idea… incorporating the term “Forward” to represent WI. Maybe “Forward HR”
